Temporary Fencing & Jersey Barriers
Gilco's temporary fencing and concrete jersey barrier installations provide safety and security for job-sites, special events and pedestrian walkways. Our experienced project managers can assist you in creating a fence or jersey barrier design to meet your special requirements.
Temporary chain link fence panels are typically 12' long by 6' tall and are secured by fence stands with sandbags or other means. Other height panels such as 4' and 8' are available for special jobs. Standard gate openings are 8', 12' and 16' although custom sizes, and gates with wheels are also available. Debris screens can also be added.
Concrete jersey barriers were developed to protect work sites or pedestrian areas from automotive traffic and designed in such a way to take the impact of a car while preventing it from rolling over. These barriers are 24" wide at the base, 32" tall and typically come in 5', 10' and 12'6" lengths. Gilco's installations are used primarily for traffic control and the protection of work zones and temporary pedestrian walkways. 4' tall fence panels can also be added to the top of the barriers to further secure the area.
